Literacy Foundations

Literacy Foundations courses are designed to review or upgrade the basic academic skills needed in order to be able to complete the high school courses required for a Dogwood or Adult Dogwood Diploma.

There are various levels in each subject, so we can evaluate what level you are at and place you at a level at which you will be comfortable.   After finishing the final level, you will have the background you need to continue on with the senior courses you need for your Dogwood Diploma.

Tuition-free courses are available to graduated adults who require significant skills upgrading through Foundation Courses.

Literacy Foundations courses are available at various levels in subjects such as:

  • English
  • Math
  • Social Studies
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Computers

Distance Education

Although we do not have a specific distance program, we do understand that adults often cannot be on campus during school hours.  Contact us to see if we can arrange study from home for you.
